I’m currently a student at UC San Diego and a prospective architect and interior designer. I started designing years ago on my own, just building concepts and teaching myself through trial and error, and over time, it turned into something much more serious. What began as curiosity slowly became a clear direction for my future. I’ve continued developing projects throughout high school and college, constantly refining them as my skills and perspective grow. Along the way, I’ve also had the opportunity to conduct academic research related to design and how different design elements influence human mood, behavior, and emotions.

For almost two years, I interned at Jen Samson Design, working alongside renowned interior designer Jen Samson and her team. There, I assisted with material sourcing, concept development, presentations, and client-related tasks, getting a real exposure to the pace and expectations of professional interior design. I also worked alongside Iraj Roohani at Pelican Developers Inc., a homebuilding company, where I observed the residential construction process and gained a deeper understanding of how design decisions translate into real structures. These experiences confirmed that this is the field I want to build my career in. My goal is to pursue a Master of Architecture and eventually build my own firm that brings architecture and interior design together under one clear vision.
