Elysian Noir

Elysian Noir began with a fabric I discovered while visiting Restoration Hardware. It was dark, layered, and textured in a way that felt both refined and powerful. That single material set the tone for the entire project. I built the design around its depth, pulling in black marble with bold veining, rich wood tones, matte finishes, and soft neutral upholstery to create contrast without overwhelming the space. This concept focuses on luxury expressed through material and proportion rather than ornament. Strong architectural elements, vertical wall treatments, and sculptural furniture give the interior presence, while lighter surfaces and open views prevent it from feeling heavy. The drama comes from the balance of light and shadow, glossy and matte, dark and soft. The result is a space that feels sophisticated and grounded, with a quiet intensity that carries throughout the home.
